Demo with sample data
Find the duplicate parts in your ERP.
The same bolt under three part numbers. BOMs that list one, purchasing that buys another. Every automation project we do starts by cleaning this up, because software built on bad data just makes mistakes faster.

Matching looks at the part family and the numbers that define it: thread, length, grade, size, bore. On a real list, your engineers confirm every merge before anything changes in the ERP.
What the numbers say
Each figure links to its source. Vendor claims are labeled.
98%
BOM accuracy the classic MRP II Class A standard calls for. Inventory records: 95% or better.
65%
Share of inventory records that were wrong in a large measured study (retail). Records drift unless someone fixes them.
3–8%
Exact duplicates in a typical material master, about 15% counting near-duplicates.
8.4¢
Pretax profit per dollar of sales at US manufacturers with $10M to $25M in assets, Q2 2026.
How it works
- 01
Descriptions are cleaned up: abbreviations, fractions, units and spelling.
- 02
Parts with the same family and the same defining numbers (thread, length, grade, size) are grouped as likely duplicates.
- 03
Missing costs and the same part bought at different prices are flagged. Your engineers confirm every merge before the ERP changes.
Good to know
Before you try it on your shop.
A sample list we wrote. On your project we run it on your real item master and BOMs, and nothing changes in your ERP until your engineers sign off.
